Continuing education through technical reading of professional journals and scientific research papers, inter-reaction with recognized experts in their fields who are brought in to GreenScape to advise on how to solve client's site problems, field trips to regional trade shows and seminars, debriefing sessions with associates who attend out of town educational seminars, on the job training sessions on new production techniques and safety issues and skull sessions where a group of associates think through how to solve a client's site problem is the backbone of our effort for the professional growth of our associates.
We believe strongly in the philosophy of fitting the job to the person rather than the person to the job. We attempt to learn the strengths of an associate let those determine in what position they would be most happy. We believe that too often a great mechanic is turned into an unhappy supervisor by promotion to a position with which they are not comfortable.
Opportunity for growth is always available. The best example of this is our Chief Executive Office who began as a bookkeeper more than twenty years ago.
