Residential Landscape Management
Residential landscape management is similar to other landscape maintenance except in one major aspect-we found long ago that homeowner's really don't enjoy their garden and good maintenance except during the weekends. Therefore we include sufficient man-hours in the annual contract for a horticulture crew to visit each site every Friday during the growing season and every other Friday during the remainder of the year to perform "perfection" maintenance. Thus the homeowner sees their landscape at its best on Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday. While this is not inexpensive, the hard-working, time-pressed professional with no time to accomplish the work does get to enjoy the benefit of their garden.
An alternative to the weekly intensive contract mentioned above is a quarterly clean-up which, if correctly anticipated by the homeowner, can include most of the continuing maintenance items of the full management contract such as:
