This amusement and theatrical production addition to the Fairgrounds was built to celebrate the nation’s bicentennial in 1976. Civic leader Jack Morris spearheaded the effort to create this significant development. This was our second large project that combined planting and irrigation and our first large project to also combine significant hardscape--two huge waterfalls constructed from thousands of tons of Arkansas Boulders, many weighing more than six thousand pounds, and hundreds of cubic yards of concrete.
