Sams Town Project Type: Commercial Budget: $500,000+ One of three casinos located the greatest distance from Memphis gave us the challenge of creating a landscape attraction which would draw patrons an extra few miles to their establishment. We renovated the entrance to create curb appeal and lighted an alee of large entry trees with thousands of tiny, brilliant white lights. Then we created a courtyard enclosed on all sides with hotel rooms that included a spa hot-tub, a pool, raised wooden decking with an arbor, concrete decking, a gazebo, a running stream water feature with bridges and large fish pond, dining area and leisure walking paths. All materials for the courtyard had to be stored inside the courtyard before any of our construction began as others were closing in the last rooms surrounding the courtyard.
